BOCES of New York State has partnered with the New York State Education Department and Tangible Development to provide free, high-quality, resources to support diversity, equity and inclusion in New York state schools.
The DEI Resource Repository provides free, high-quality, resources developed by and for K-12 educators to support diversity, equity and inclusion in New York state schools. This initiative is a public-private partnership between BOCES of New York State, Tangible Development and the New York State Education Department.
The repository is a curated collection of resources that reflect ongoing DEI work within New York schools. The resources chosen for this repository have passed through a review process to determine whether they reflect promising practices within the field of diversity, equity and inclusion. Each resource is accompanied by a review document outlining its strengths, as well as opportunities for further growth or development, as identified by Tangible Development.
Educators across New York state, including public, private, charter and parochial schools, are invited to submit DEI resources to repository to reflect the breadth and depth of DEI work being done across the state and to provide the field with opportunities for learning and growth.
How does the Repository work?
The Repository houses free, high-quality resources online at BOCES.org. Each resource has been developed and provided by New York state educators to reflect the real work being done to support DEI work in our schools. All materials provided in the repository can be accessed freely — there is no need to log in or create an account.
How are materials selected for the Repository?
All materials in the Repository are submitted by educators from around the state. Each submission is reviewed by Tangible Development and assigned a rating to determine if it should be incorporated into the Repository. Each resource selected for inclusion in the Repository is accompanied by a review document outlining its strengths, as well as opportunities for further growth or development, as identified by Tangible Development.
